Dear Peter Just a quick note to say thanks so much for your time and effort yesterday. I know we made it a very busy day, you certainly deserve a rest before you fly overseas next week! Your ability to work in with our last-minute ideas, and your enthusiasm and passion for small communities is amazing, and we love the way you inspire our towns!
I can't wait to see the Great Western Progress Association get their new fence and petanque surface ready, and think the Stawell Gold Mine focus group will have more confidence in their ability to guide a town in such a crucial time. |

Dear Peter ... Your open and honest stories of leadership, combined with some wonderfully delivered messages were very appropriate for the conclusion of our program. Many references to your positive leadership messages were made during the Leadership Forum workshops held on the following weekend and I personally received many positive comments regarding your presentation. .... Hey Peter
So great having you here is Saskatchewan last week! I assure you we were all pumped-up as a result of your presentations!! I hope we didn’t tire you out too much though! Peter – I just wanted to extend a sincere thanks for sharing the book “Screw it, let’s do it” with me. It was a remarkable read and I’ve already ordered multiple copies from Amazon.com to share with some of my youth groups and teams. It was an incredibly nice gesture and I appreciate it sincerely.

Dear Peter
Thank you so much for your motivational, inspirational & delightful workshop on Wednesday in Halls Gap. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it & I came away feeling so positive, energised & happy. On returning home I printed up a voucher to The Kookaburra Restaurant in Halls Gap for $100.00. I then proceeded to present it to a guest of ours that I had to move to Marwood Villas, because of the pipeline going through the back of our property. Barry was so touched, emotional & moved by our gesture, that he had tears in his eyes & we gave each other a big hug. He said there was absolutely no need to do this, & I said I know that, but that I wanted to do it. Barry said that I had no idea how much this meant to him & that they had a very bad start to the year. I said that things would be fantastic from now on. Thank you once again for all your wonderful inspiring stories & I look forward to my next chance to hear you. Have an amazing week Peter and take care.

Feedback from 'Getting the Tills Ring (Ingredients to running a success Rural Business) presented by Peter Kenyon of Bank of I.D.E.A.S. at a Breakfast Seminar in Bulls New Zealand. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the breakfast seminar. Peter Kenyon's presentation was full of interesting stories and facts about successful rural businesses and included strategies "creating that point of difference' used by a variety of successful businesses.
Peters talk, made
me look at Bulls in a slightly different light and overall I found the
seminar thought provoking and incredibly stimulating. So that you
Bronwyn and the Enterprise Committee for bringing a world class speaker
like Peter Kenyon to our town. Fantastic!!

to help ones business flourish and grow day by day ... Great way to end
the week.

Dear Peter
I would like to
formally convey my thanks to you for your contribution to our Community
Boards' Forum in Lower Hutt two weeks ago. We are now drawing all the
threads together and it is clear from the feedback that your
presentation and workshops were the highlight of the event for our
delegates. As was intended, your address set the key note and the other
speakers and facilitators complimented it. Your knowledge, passion and
commitment have enthused us all and given us a new vision of what it is
possible for our communities to achieve. I wish you well in your
continued efforts to mobilise the people who are the backbone of our
communities.

Dear Peter
I hope you have
made it home safe and sound (without anymore flat tyres)! Thankyou so
much for taking the time to visit Cobden last week, your visit inspired
everyone who was present (as per usual) and has created quite a deal of
interest in developing enterprise projects in the region. We already
have meetings scheduled with Mercy College and Terang P-12 and we had
positive discussions with a number of organisations (including the
shire) about the possibility of a large project that encompasses many
schools and organisations. ...... Thanks Again

The Peter Kenyon Breakfast Seminar was well worth the 6am start to the day. A most enjoyable and inspiring opportunity to lift your spirits, hopes and aspirations for our communities. The seven key ways Peter shared to "get the tills ringing" are very powerful and effective ways to improve your business although some of us would already be familiar with some of them. The one that stood out the most for me was collaboration. If we could find ways to do things collectively then we could overcome barriers a lot quicker and progress a lot further. Many thanks to Graham, Bulls Enterprise and District and Bronny for a most enjoyable morning.

|
Dear Peter
I am delighted to know that you have recovered from the New Zealand 'ordeal' and appear to be flitting about helping other centres already. I extend a heartfelt thanks to you for coordinating such an interesting and relevant study tour for our Launceston group. I must say that, in hindsight, I don't know how I ever thought that I put it together - I was dreaming. ... .... In addition to your patience and skill in coordinating our entire itinerary it was invaluable to actually have you with us. It is so important to mull over the findings and discuss them with informed colleagues. Your input was valuable in ensuring that we saw the less tangible impacts of the various types of retail. In short, and even taking into account your questionable navigation skills, we think that you put together an outstanding tour that has provided our group with a strong basis from which to form sound and informed views.... .... Peter, you are a real find and we appreciate you. Dear Nico and Loel
Hello to you both from west Oz! Please also pass on my regards to Max when you next catch up. Thankyou to all of you for your generosity and enthusiasm at the Riverton event. There are a number of local people attending that night who say that it was one of the best political fundraising events they have ever attended!! I had a sense that the three of you were openly welcomed and that each of you responded very directly and personally to that - and that this interaction was the basis for such a great night. This dialogue is so important for the future of our communities and I'm delighted we had the opportunity to meet. Tony Macrae MLA, Member for Riverton WA (24/06/04) Guest Speaker Client |

Dear Peter It was truly a privilege having you in Ontario to speak to our Rural Development Division staff and ministry senior management. Your presentations informed, inspired and provided wonderful insights and practical examples of how effective rural community development can occur. Many of the participants accepted your thoughtful observations as personal challenges. It was clear from the outset that rural development challenges and opportunities are the same whether in rural Australia or rural Ontario. We appreciated the opportunity to learn from your extensive international experience in the area of community capacity building, community revitalization and entrepreneurship. Thank you for re-affirming for us the value of the fact that, "the wisdom of the community exceeds the knowledge of the experts." ... Hi Peter A great experience (The Stutterheim Experience - Breakfast Meeting), wonderful to hear from these men who have done some hard work within the community and within themselves. Very encouraging to me personally, especially when it feels like we are going nowhere fast, but that is not actually true, we are going somewhere, it just needs vision, patience, persistence and time. Some very skilled, honest, passionate people help too. Thanks to you and Peter K. for some of that vision patience and persistence. Erica Anderton - Anglicare WA (11/05/04) |

Hi Peter I just love catching up with you and sharing your special kind of magic with so many more people!! Once again, there were rave reviews about your contribution to the workshop. It appears that you have inspired many to act within their communities, and also many others to reflect on their own leadership and passion. The challenge you gave participants engaged them for some time on the Saturday and they presented their findings/outcomes on the Sunday. Each of the six groups presented quite differently and those who actively listened to the young people in their groups were much less conventional and more exciting with the feedback!.... Dear Mr. Kenyon: Michelle is away from her computer and has asked me to convey to you on her behalf how thoroughly she enjoyed meeting you on Monday, Mar 1 in Toronto.
